Derek started in Real Estate at a young age, attending Open Houses with his father who's been a Realtor for over 30 years. Now, Derek, mom, and dad are all licensed real estate agents in California with a wealth of knowledge and experience. In the past 5 years, Derek has become one of the top real estate agents in the Walnut Creek, Concord and Pleasant Hill communities, highly regarded by his past clients and respected by other Realtors in the area. As a buyers agent he's able to get his offers accepted at a higher rate making him a top realtor for buying a new home. When selling a home, he offers hyper-targeted marketing techniques and house staging tips to help clients reach their goals by attracting the right buyers.

Because of this, Derek is constantly focused on the future and how to provide the best services and the most value to his clients. Prior to Real Estate, Derek received a B.A. in History and M.S. In Sports Business. He has used those entrepreneurial skills to start several businesses, including a social media marketing and design business which allows him to deliver exceptional design, marketing, social media, and video tools to his clients. Derek worked at the Rose Bowl during it's renovation, as Cam Newton's NFL Player promoter for the United Way and spent all of his 20s working at Foothill Horizons Summer Camp and was the Director for 6 summers. He currently lives in Concord with his wife, Jen, daughter Emerson, and their Goldendoodle, Nana.
